How to Delete Your Account and Data
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the Hamara Umrah app.
- Navigate to the Profile or Settings tab.
- Scroll down to the Account section.
- Tap on Delete Account.
- Confirm your decision. Your account will be deactivated and scheduled for permanent deletion.
Method 2: Manual Request via Email
If you no longer have the app or prefer email:
- Email: support@hamaraumrah.com
- Subject: Data Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email/Phone]
- The support team will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted?
- Your name, email, phone number, and profile picture.
- Saved travel documents (passports, visas).
- Booking history and chat messages.
Data Retention for Legal Compliance
- Financial Records: Completed payments and invoices may be retained as required by law.
- Dispute Records: Data related to ongoing disputes or legal claims will be kept until resolved.
